Nagios 4.0.8 LDAP

Good afternoon! I've setup Nagios Core with very limited knowledge of Linux and no knowledge of Nagios at all. I have successfully setup an Ubuntu computer with Nagios and am actively monitoring all our servers. However, I was asked to setup single sign-on with our Active Directory via LDAP. We use that method for many other things in our infrastructure. Ideally, we have 4 users we want to have access to the Nagios page via LDAP.

So far I have done no config. Again, I'm completely new to Nagios and pretty new to Linux. I'm worried about breaking my server I just got setup by testing things I find on Google since most don't match my setup (ubuntu and nagios 4.0.8). Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Below is a bit of info on my setup. If you have need more information, please, feel free to ask!

Nagios 4.0.8
Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS
Apache 2.4.7

I appreciate your taking the time to read this!

The first guide that I saw on google when I searched for this looked like it would have been pretty decent. I would recommend you take a snapshot before doing anything assuming this is a virtual machine. We don't have this "officially" built into Nagios, but some editing of httpd(apache2 in your case) should achieve the desired results if you follow a guide.
