Hi,

Is it possible to install nagios xi license on a server where the trail version got expired?

If the license is installed on a server and if we come across a issue is it possible to export the license to other server ?

What is the procedure to install a license.

Regards,
Ranjit Woonna

Yes, you can install a license on a machine with an expired demo license. You can transfer licenses from one machine to another. If you are looking to purchase a license, my company is a Nagios reseller and you can PM me for details, or you can purchase directly from Nagios Enterprises.

You should have received an email with the licensing information. You'll need to go to your Nagios XI installation, and most likely, you have a yellow banner that says your license is expired and to "click here" to install one. Do that. If you do not have a yellow banner, then you can go to the Admin section and find the License tab.

Enter the license key and so forth, and then you will need to activate your license. Activation means getting a second code from Nagios Enterprises that you will have to type in, but this is all explained on screen.
