My beautiful headline says it all.

I converted the image, and is using vmware on my beloved Nagios XI.

The thing is that I get the following error when trying to auto-discover all my networkcard-infested machinery.

The following programs must be installed on your Nagios XI server:

traceroute (/bin/traceroute)

Why do I get this?

How do I rectify this?

We are experiencing some growing pains with that VM. We decided to put lots of extras on the VM and it appears some dependencies were not installed. Normally, when you install Nagios XI that Traceroute component is an extra thing you can add yourself and you'd need to install traceroute at the command line of the Nagios XI server

yum install traceroute

I just installed traceroute, and voila!
