Hi Team,

We have Nagios XI Latest version installed in my environment. Before that we are using Nagios Core to monnitor the nodes.

In nagios core we are using pnp4nagios to present graphs. With the help of pnp4nagios we can export the such data to our internal application in a XML format using following path.
Now the issue is even though the pnp4nagios inbuilt with Nagios XI, we cant find the feature.
Kindly let us know how to export the data in XML format. Kindly let us know the steps to activate this feature in Nagios XI.

Currently, this is not possible in Nagios XI. I filed an internal feature request for adding this functionality (TASK ID 6656).

1) How can it be not available in Nagios XI since its available in Nagios Core ?

2) How long it takes to get the same done from your end ?

3) How to track the progress of the ticket you have created ?

Core and XI are still separate products, even though the latter uses the former under the hood. XI isn't a direct copy of Core, so there are some things that are either missing or were left out intentionally. Some things we left out for the time-being because Core handles them well, but even recently we have continued to replace that functionality in XI as we go (for example, look at the new Acknowledge links).

That entirely depends on the severity, ease of implementation, demand, and volume of bug/feature reports. In other words, I don't have a good estimate. The developers make that decision, and even they might not be able to give a set calendar date for when it will be done.

Since this is filed internally, there is not a way to directly view it. We are making some changes to our development workflow that will hopefully expose this information like with our old Tracker, but there are some logistical issues we have to work out. For the time-being, we can leave this thread open in case you need an update. If we are going to go this route, please only post back if you need an update so we can keep our "todo" dashboard clean of replies.

The feature request is more geared towards getting a new functionality in Nagios XI. Right now your feature request is in the state "pending approval" which means it hasn't even been looked at yet. We just released the biggest update of XI ever about a month ago, adding new features aren't the top priority of the developers right now, fixing bugs are.

With that said, the functionality you want can be achieved by simply enabling the pnp4nagios interface. Bear in mind that this isn't an officially supported UI in the XI portfolio, but I am happy to share with you the forum thread where I described to another user how to get it going:
