Nagios XI 5 - Phone Number

Hello,

Updated my Nagios XI production to latest version today. I have several questions. (as usual), so I'll try to make a thread for each one.

So apparently there is a Phone Number column now in the User Management section.

After reading the "Setup Nagios XI to Send SMS Alerts" PDF I found out this should be done in the Notification method page in the notification options of each user. But I get an error message there:
Nagios XI notification handlers are not defined for this account. XI notification handlers must be defined in the Core Config Manager for customized notification settings. Management of notification preferences is not available for your account. Contact your Nagios XI administrator for details.
I'm not sure what this means. Also when I go to "Send Test notification", I get:
Testing notification messages is not available for your account. Contact your Nagios XI administrator for details.

My contact used a custom notification handler. After changing it back to the default generic-contact template with the xi_host_notification_handler and xi_service_notification_handler it worked again.

The above is all just fyi. Now the question => We are not using any SMS system yet. But we would like to see each users phone number. How could I populate this without having to log in as each user?

Grtz

Willem

Currently, there is no way of adding a phone number for xi users under the "Manage Users" page (without having to log in or masquerade as the user and modifying the "Notification Methods"). This would make a nice "feature request".
Update: I filed on already - TASK ID 6683.
