Move from Red Hat 6 to Red Hat 7 - Dashboard problem

I have moved OS to RH 7, and it was not very simple to use backup and restore, but I am done now.

First thing I need to solve is that my dashboards have reverted to the initial size of the dashlet prior to my stretching it to a size that works for me.

I need to know which data to grab from the Postgresql database that will put those back the way they were prior to my OS change.

I am on 2014 Version 2.7 still.

Can someone please provide some insight?

Thanks

It gets better.

If I delete the dashlet, and add it back - is asks for a width and height - but does not use it on the dashboard.

Specifically, the custom URL dashlet.

I need help on this.

Well, no takers huh. Just remember, poultry is just another word for chicken...

That's okay, I solved it temporarily.
After the installation/backup/restore, in /tmp, there were some saved directories.

The 2 files I needed I found there.

/usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/dashlets/custom-dashlet/

custom-dashlet.inc.php

RedHat 6 2014 v2.7 install files were different from the RedHat 7 install, because the installer downloads the latest versions of components.

The latest version of that dashlet does not work for me. The size was not changeable for some reason. All my dashboards shrunk to a 2 inch square. Since all my Application Owners love their NagVis dashboards, that was going to be unacceptable. I got lucky that the older file made stuff still work.

That was a very stressful migration. I'm now on RedHat 7, and need to upgrade to XI 5 yet.

That's gonna be fun.

Can I close this thread? sure...
