Question - Change host settings from CLI

Hi

I would like to know if there is a way to modify host and services from the command line instead of the GUI.

I want to make at least 3 or 4 different settings in all my windows servers, and I want to be able to do it from the CLI instead of bulk changes.

Using the API in XI 5 you can target objects that already exist and they will get updated.

However you can't just change one value, you need to "define the whole object" for it to work.

The API was introduced in XI 5 and we do not have a supported way of doing this in prior versions.
