I'm using Nagios CORE 3.5.1 and I manage the configuration using NagiosQL 2.0
I have a large installation and I monitoring more than 2400 hosts and more 22.000 service.
I also use gearmand utility to distribute the check to 5 servers .

I have gearmand version 1.1.8 and mod_gearman_worker 1.5.3
I use nagiosgraph for manage performance data graph

Which is the last version of Nagios Core ?
I like to know if is it possible to upgrade my intallation to the last version of Nagios Core .
Does it support NagiosQL 2.0 ?

Many thanks for your help
Emilio

The configurations are compatible between the current version of Core (4.1.1 as of this writing, but soon to change) and 3.x. All of your bolt-ons should be compatible also.

mod_gearman is known to work fine with 4.1.1
nagiosql doesn't care about versions as long as the configs are compatible (which they are)
nagiosgraph I can't really speak to, but it is known to work in 4.x. The performance data processing hasn't been modified in the 4.x line so there is no outstanding reason it shouldn't work fine for you.

You have a fairly complicated task moving all of that data into a fresh system. Be sure to mock it all up and run it before blasting away your old instance so you don't get surprised with any missing features or data. It might behoove you to think about moving into an XI instance as a trial so that next time you can just use the built in upgrade functionality.
