Hi,

After a fresh install on nagios XI 2014R2.7 i'm not able to apply configuration from the web UI.
I do able to apply manually with /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/reconfigure_nagios.sh, both with root and nagios users.

When applying from web UI i just get endless dots, no errors.
Waiting for configuration verification......................................................................................................


what can it be ?

Are you forcing HTTPS by any chance? We've seen this cause an issue in the past.

Can you try to apply configuration and then post the output of -
tail -n100 /var/log/httpd/error_log and tail -n100 /var/log/httpd/ssl_error_log

All good now, we were missing the nagios home folder (/home/nagios).
