How to use the plug-ins with the core?
I got both nagios-core and plugins installed but not able to figure our how to use the plugins from the web interface.
is there a way?

This guide should explain it.

Basically you define a command that references the plugin along with variable.
Then you define a service that references the command you define.
The guide I pointed you to shows you using the supplied configs in Nagios Core which can make it easier to understand.
There is no "web interface" built into Nagios core to do this. Nagios XI includes Core Configuration Manager which simplifies things.
