New Nagios XI Setup

Dear Forum,
We are trying to set up Nagios in an environment that has the following components, we need help with some queries and documentations
a)Operating System - SunOS 5.10
b)Application/Web Servers based on Java 1.7 framework
Weblogic 12C & iPlanet 7.0
c)Database – Oracle 11G
In general, for the above mentioned environment our understanding is for the above components, once Nagios XI instance is installed, installing NRPE client along with the required plugin on the remote hosts and creating NRPE services in Nagios XI should help to monitor the required OS, App Server & DBs. However, is there any other component that need to be installed/configured apart from NRPE & the required agent/plugins on the remote hosts for the monitor to work fine?
Some queries around these
1. Does Nagios XI have a supported plugin for SunOS 5.10. The PDF link for agent installation/configuration doesn't seem to be working ( https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... _Agent.pdf)
2. Does iPlanet have a Nagios XI supported plugin? I couldn't see one in Nagios exchange
3. If Oracle DB instance on a remote host needs to be monitored does any plugin needs to be installed on the remote host?. Support doc (https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf) talks about installing and configuring oracle client & plugin on the Nagios XI server. Is this correct and should we not do this on the remote host where the oracle instance runs? like we install and configure WLSAgent on a weblogic server to monitor weblogic (https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf)
Please advise ASAP, as we have to start a PoC. Appreciate you support!
Regards,
Sundar
