We use a VMware image 64 bit,

We were on 2014R2.7 and update to 5.2.3 and started getting this error

CRITICAL - cannot connect to 67.111.179.150:1521/aleph22.ils.cjh.org. install_driver(Oracle) failed: Can't load '/usr/local/lib64/perl5/auto/DBD/Oracle/Oracle.so' for module DBD::Oracle: libocci.so.11.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or dir

Compilation failed in require at (eval 19) line 3.
Perhaps a required shared library or dll isn't installed where expected

I believe your paths may not be setup properly, do you know what your ORACLE_HOME and LD_LIBRARY_Path varaibles are?

Can you also navigate to Configure -> Core Config Manager -> select 'Commands' -> search for oracle and paste a screenshot so that we can see the command line setup for the commands?

Yep, for some reason the update change the location of ORACLE_HOME and LD_LIBRARY_Path variables. I changed them back and it fixed the issue.

you can go ahead and close this.

Glad to see this worked! I'll close this out now, but feel free to open a new thread if you need assistance in the future.
