The Idea: A statusmap that allows changing device (or groups of devices) parents but dragging and dropping them onto their new parents.

The Use: Primarily for reassigning the parents of devices quickly as opposed to editing each individual device. Especially with Auto Discovery imports, it wouldn't take much to check the wrong box during the configuration and give the wrong parent to an entire network of devices.

This is on our long-term wishlist as well, although doing this well is a massive undertaking. We have a few other major projects in line in front of this one, but this is definitely something we want and need to have in the future.
