Nagios wizzards and configuration settings

Hello,

Are there only wizzards for creating monitoring tasks? For example I created an MS SQL Query task. There is a error in the query but I can't find how to edit this task.
Also when I ran the wizzard for a host to monitor the spooler service on the host, but when I run the wizzard for the same host again the monitored spooler service is not visible.

Clemens.

To edit an existing service navigate to Configure -> Core Config Manager -> From there, you can click Hosts or Services and narrow down to the one that is causing issues.

What wizard did you run to monitor the spooler service? Did you apply configuration after running the wizard, or did it fail still from the first error above?

I was not clear about what's my problem with monitoring the spooler service.
What I want to explain is that I added the check to monitor the spooler service on the host. This works fine so there is no problem. But what I don't understand is that when I ran the same wizzard on the same host again I can't see that the spooler service is monitored. I'm coming back on an empty wizzard.

The XI wizards do not pull previous checks into the wizard. They will add services to hosts that have already been created, but you are not able to get back to the wizard to make changes.

The changes would need to be made in the CCM as I listed above.

Does that answer your question?
