PHP compatibility

What is the maximum supported PHP version for Nagios XI? As I keep getting complaints from Qualys about my current PHP version, which is 5.4.16-36.el7_1 I was looking to upgrade, but I fear my test Nagios XI will stop working properly? Or has this been tested yet?

I would like to upgrade to PHP 7 using this procedure:
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... n-centos-7

https://secure.php.net/manual/en/migration70.php

if PHP 7 is an issue, what about 5.6.11+?

Thanks for any info on this topic.

I spoke with the developers and they informed me that PHP7 won't work for a bit due to SourceGuardian.

At this time, Debian / Ubuntu should work with 5.6 and lower. As for CentOS / RHEL it's at 5.3 and lower.

Weird, as I'm on CentOS 7 on my test server and it seems I'm on 5.4.16. Eveyrhting seems to work fine.

While it may work, I don't believe it's been fully tested.

After looking at the deprecated functions as well, it does not look like much changed in 5.3 -> 5.4, so this may be why you aren't seeing any issues.
