Custom Reports?

After searching the archives, it looks like the custom reports portion of Nagios XI is in need of some love (no way to do custom reports?) - so here is my dilema: I need to create a report that will show management how many warning / critical alerts we had (whether it's a host or a service) every month. Is there any easy way to generate that report?

Or is there a quick/dirty way to do a MySQL query that would tell me the number of warning / critical alerts?

At this time the closest report we have to what you're looking for is the 'Top Alert Producers'. It will let you filter based off a soft or hard state change which should help you as well.

I can always create a feature request for the report you're looking for, if you'd like?
