only one users recives notifications

Hi
i am using Nagios XI 5.2.5 on a cantos virtual machine. i have configured some services to sent an e-mail notification ( alert) to a user account. now i want to send notification for this services to a contact group. i created the contacts and added them to a contact group. after that i opened the service in nagios core and added the new contact group inside the alert settings in manage contactgroups. now when the service changes from OK to Warning the first users receives an email message. the rest of the contacts inside the group never receive any kind of notification. the only one who receives notification is the user account.

Hi
i am facing an issue with my Nagios XI 5.2.5 version installed form a VMware image downloaded from. i have created a number of hosts and many services. at the beginning one person was alerted about problems with the systems. and messages get delivered with no problem to this one email address
now that i need to add two or more email address to get notified about some or all services messages are not delivered to the other email addresses. i created contacts in the ccm menu and added them to a contact group after that i opened the services that i want to deliver alerts to more than one email address and added the contact group for some reason this contacts never receives a notification about this service. i tried to do it by creating a user (not a contact) but again when i added the user directly to the service or the contact again they never receive any kind of notification. i tried creating an escalation from the wizard but for once more the rest of the added users never receive any notification about the service they are assigned to.
is there a guide or even better some simple steps on how to do it.

If you are still having issues with notifications, please place all of the relevant configs (service, contactgroup, contact, contact template, etc.) in code wraps, and we will take it from here.

just one more question. do i need to create a user from the admin menu & create a contact with the same username for the notification to work?

I tried the links and only when i created a user and contact both users got the alert. it seems to be working but i noticed another issue. both users recive all the alerts. how can i configure a user to recive alerts for specific host only not for all the hosts ?

You'll have to make sure that they're not both assigned to the same hostgroup/template. You'll probably want to go through and clean this up a bit now that you found the issue.
