Good afternoon,
I am having an issue with 2 new clients in which I installed the agent using the package from the Ubuntu repo with apt-get install nagios-agent. The install went fine and I added the clients using the configuration wizard without any issues. However, both clients are reporting the error - CHECK_NRPE: Error - Could not complete SSL handshake. for every service check except ping. I searched this forum but did not find anything helpful. Any ideas what I can check? Thanks in advance for any advice you may have. I appreciate it.

Have a look at this guide, it will walk you through many of the common NRPE issues. I assume you're having trouble because your Nagios server is not in the allowed_hosts in your NRPE configuration file. https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... utions.pdf
