Nagios XI upgrade & integration with ServiceNow

Hi,

As of now, we are using Nagios Core 3.2.1. However, we have a plan to upgrade it to Nagios XI in near future.

Before we proceed to upgrade the tool, we need some information on on this. In our environment, we are using ServiceNow as a ticketing tool and we have implemented a integration script to handle auto creation/ closing of incidents. Now, I want to know whether the ServiceNow (or any other ticketing tool) integration will be easier if we move to XI. Is there any standard integration module/ plugin Nagios provides as part of the software/ service (not like https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... er/details)? Please let me know.

Thanks & Regards,
Barun.

ServiceNow is not something that we have integrated with Nagios XI.

Thanks for the reply.

Is there any professional help available from Nagios support on this? If not, could you please point me to the Nagios ServiceNow integration plugin. Earlier we used to rely on ServiceNow ticketer; however, it seems it is supported no longer!

I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work if it's already integrated into Core, and working currently.

I do see the Service Now Ticketer (https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... er/details) - it mentions that the development has been ceased for it. As this is an Exchange plugin, we do not officially support any of them because we did not develop it. Has this plugin stopped working for you in your current environment?
