I have 2 instances of NagiosXI version 5.25 running. However, i'm missing a Notes URL for the host icon on one of those instances. I'm assuming this has something to do with the action url component not being installed.

If that is the case, how do I go about installing that component if it doesn't exists in the component section? I clicked more components and unable to find it listed.

Do you see the Actions component listed under Administration > System Extensions > Manage Components?

Yes, but i'm missing the Action URL component, which I believe is what I need.

So, now both instances do not have the note url icon under Quick Actions for services. I remember that it did before, unless i'm going crazy. How do you add it back in? I do have the action url component enabled for this instance.

That's not on the quick actions menu. I think what you're looking for is under the 'advanced' menu.

That option isn't listed under advanced tab. I'm almost certain that Notes URL appeared under Quick Actions for both host and services, but not anymore.

Go to Admin->Manage Components->Actions, set up something like this:
and click on "Apply Settings". Did this help?

It works for host, but not services. For services, it shows a blue arrow icon without a link next to it. I also tried changing object type to service and it still does not work.

OK, I feel so stupid now. The notes url does not show up if you don't put a link in there to begin with. I got confused and thought that I had originally linked the service to a webpage, but I didn't. I apologize for me overlooking such an obvious mistake.
