We have a Hyper-V cluster where I would like to know when a new Hyper-V Guest is installed.

let's say the current Hyper-v Host (cluster) have 16 Hyper-V guests, and I would like to know if someone is installed number 17.

Do is exist, and any ideas how to find a solution?

Do you have a way to check the amount of Guests are currently deployed to Hyper-V through powershell, windows counters, or SNMP at all? We'd need a way to pull it from the host.

I looked at our plugins for Hyper-V on the exchange, but I don't think any of them are directly related to what you'd like to monitor. See this link - https://exchange.nagios.org/index.php?o ... rd=hyper-v
