Hostgroup Notification

I have quite a few servers we are monitoring as well as switches. Is there a way to specify the notification interval and contact in the hostgroup configuration or do I need to do this per host or service?

You cannot do this through a hostgroup, but you can do this via host templates. Please make use of the following document:
