Graphs and Speed Change to SNMP Device

Hi,

We monitor a number of CPE routers across our WAN which produce bandwidth reports. We recently increased the speed of one of our WAN links however the graphs do not graph past the previous speed limit. The actual interface speeds on the devices did not change.

I've configured monitoring against one of these devices with a secondary hostname and it shows the increased speed values. Is there any way to reconfigure the older host so that the graphs display the new values while still keeping the historic graphing information?

Cheers,
Simon

It sounds like XI is still referring to the old .rrd files (prior to the change in speed) in /var/lib/mrtg
Just delete all <host_OLD_file>.rrd, wait 5- 10 minutes, then check the graph to see if it displays correctly.

*If in any doubt, post the contents of /var/lib/mrtg
