Hello

I'm currently upgrading all my nagios-instances (distributed monitoring, > 2000 hosts) to Nagios 4.1.1 and using the livestatus broker.

everything looks quite good - except for one issue with livestatus not showing "comments" for services correctly
actually livestatus shows the comments of the Host also as comments of the Service

by using the lql (livelink-query) on a service :
e.g: for a Host that has a comment defined (but no service-comment) I see
"host_comments" with the same content as "comments" and
"host_comments_with_extra_info" with the same content as "comments_with_extra_info"

this results in livestatus showing all host-comments as comments for every service .

in my previouse setup (Nagios 3.3.1 and livestatus 1.1.12p6) this issue did not exist.

Anyone seen that - and got an idea?

Unfortunately we don't provide support for LiveStatus as it is not our code, and we couldn't fix any bugs with it anyway for that same reason. There is some contact information on their page that may prove useful:

Much appreciated. Sorry for the lack of info, it's just not a project that we maintain so any help we could give would be trial and error, and we need to keep in scope.
