Hi Nagios team,
I want to check the secondary IP of Linux servers that I'm dealing with. I'm using NRPE to monitor them the only issue is how to check the secondary IP of those servers.
I found a patch in this link https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... Ex/details
But I don't know how and where to add this patch. If there are another solutions for secondary IP check that would be appreciated.

I would probably stay away from that patch, it says Nagios 1x and no reviews or READ ME / how to's. I'll double check here as I question if we should still even have that available on our exchange site (that script was not created by Nagios, BTW).

In the meantime, the safest and easiest method that I'm aware of would be to just configure a new check for the secondary IP, so you wind up with two separate checks: 1 for the primary IP and another for the secondary IP address.
