Nagios XI and TruView

We are at the time of the year again where someone wants us to evaluate different products becuase...well you know we can't leave well enough alone. I had tried to explain that Nagios XI can do just about all the things this can do but looking for some additional ammunition. Anyone have any feedback or helpful suggestions to keep Nagios XI and not consider TruView?
Most of our problems I have said relate to not monitor the right stuff. We monitor the basic server stuff but we are not really monitor network bandwidth which I believe is why they are looking at TruView. Some of the examples I have seen are surrounding around loss of network drives, high I/O on a database, Internet links flooded or maxed out, slow performance on applications when performing day-to-day tasks. Is there anything that Nagios XI cannot monitor that TruView can? Also, has anyone migrated from TruView to Nagios XI and if so could you share some basic reasons why?
I have become acquainted with Nagios XI and starting to understand the layout and how to add some more advanced monitoring, to a certain point then I come running to this board
that I don't want to have to learn something completely new when what we currently have will work. We just need to know how and what to monitor.
Thanks!
