Alerts getting generated.

Hi team,
We have a issue whenever we place a servers in schedule downtime an alert get generated for it.If we also acknowledge it again a alert get generated for it.Can anyone help us in stopping such alert.

Hi team,
These servers were already present in maintenance mode . We just extended the maintenance period. So an alert should not have been generated. And now we are even getting email alerts for acknowledging the alert. Two alerts for a single server, one for adding the server to scheduled downtime and one for acknowledging the alert.

Take a look at notification_options under the host / service definitions. You'll want to remove the 's' flag from both of them for being checked.

s = send notifications when scheduled downtime starts and ends.
