downloading Nagios Core with wget on Ubuntu

I am currently going through the Nagios Core Ubuntu Quickstart guide and have downloaded everything but the latest version on Nagios.
When trying to use "wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sour ... 1.1.tar.gz" I get a "Username/Password Authentication Failed".
Is there something I am missing?
