All services up but host showing down

All my services are in green, and I have checked on dashboard, its all working fine.

But I have seen on dashboard, its showing one host down, whereas all my hosts and services are in green.

A host check can be anything, just as a service can be. If you have a misconfigured host check, then it can appear down when it is up, or vice-versa. Also, if you are using a standard ping/ICMP check and the host is configured to block replies to pings, it will appear down.

I am using few of my servers with service cloud name. It does not ping cloud service so I just change ping to nrpe port using check_tcp to make host green.

Might be due to which it would have been showing for that reason, if I am not wrong.

Yes, this should work. You can run "check_tcp" against a known open port, or you can use "check-host-alive-http".
