Hi,

I am getting some output in dashboard. I want to export the result in one excel file or in .csv format. Is there any way to achieve this in nagios log server.

In the top I am having save option. If I am clicking on Save -> Advanced -> Export Dashboard.

It is exporting standard configuration details of dashboard . like query details, filter details and dashboard layout. But I need the output of dashboard to be exported.

Can you please tell me how to do it in nagios log server.

I have found in few forums like through Kibana 4, we can able to export the dashboard output.

Currently I am using Nagios log server Version 1.4.1. Please find the component version details


Elasticsearch 1.6.0
Logstash 1.5.1
Kibana 3.1.1-nagios3


Is it possible to upgrade only Kibana in Nagios log server. If I am upgrading Kibana will it affect the existing nagios log server configurations(logstash , elasticsearch configurations)?

It shouldn't affect LS/ES, but it will definitely mess up your Log Server installation. The Kibana component we include in NLS has special additions made to it.

The best I am currently able to do is copy+paste the results table into an Excel spreadsheet.

If this is a feature of Kibana 4, there's a good chance it will be included in a future iteration of NLS.
