Hi
Can I install Nagios Log Server on a Windows Server or do I have to do it through a virtual Machine?
And is there a guide for new users to Nagios Log Server?
Thanks

Currently, only clean minimal CentOS and RHEL systems are supported. Windows Server is not supported.

We don't really have a one-size-fits-all manual, but we do have a section of our knowledge base for NLS:

The forums are also a pretty good place to ask questions or get assistance with NLS.
You might consider attending a webinar or scheduling a quickstart. These are usually the best ways to get an introduction to the software or get help setting things up:

That was very helpfull, can I install the NLS on the same server as the NagiosXI?
And does NLS support tracking for Nlog?

I would not recommend that, as the system would not be clean and minimal at the time you install NLS

We usually recommend individuals machines for each Nagios product.

We only officially provide instructions and documentation for nxlog. I'm sure with the right configuration you could use NLog, but it's not something we've done much testing against.
