Hi all.

I've been going through the reports and selecting a few hostgroups for test reports. The data that I'm seeing is painfully off. I have devices that have been in Nagios for a month, up and running, but the reports are showing some 90% down time over the past month. Likewise with services. Could this be due to the performance grapher issue that was recently fixed?

The historical reports are working from a different set of data from the performance graphs. Can you compare your report results with what you see in the Report->Legacy Reports->Availability?

If they differ, go ahead and post a screenshot of what you're getting.

I forgot to grab a screen shot but the output for the same hostgroup yeilds two different numbers. On the new XI reports is has Up:60% Unreachable:40% and on the legacy reports it has Up:100%. Both reports are for a 7 day report interval.

We'll take a look at this and see what we can find out...

Currently we are investigating this issue. It may be a bug, but we will know for sure after we are done with all of the testing.

There definitely does appear to be an issue here, we're not sure if it's a mathematical bug because of a rounding issue that happens in the XI code, but we've got this on our bug list for now.

So it looks like the bug was that XI was calculating hostgroup info for the last day, regardless of the timeperiod selected. This is now fixed in SVN for the 1.9 release.
