dynamic timeframe in dashboard

Is it possible to have a dynamic timeframe in a dashboard?
In Graph Explorer i can dynamically change my timeframe from last 4 hours, last 24 hours, last 48, etc. When i add those graphs as dashlets to a dashboard it seems to hardcode the current timeframe when the dashlet was added. When viewing my dashboard i want to have the ability to dynamically change the timeframe of all dashlets (or even better let me choose which ones) on the dashboard, is this possible?

That functionality is not available. You can zoom in with your mouse, but thats about as much as you can do.

ok since i cannot have dynamic timeframes in the dashboard, how can I leverage the dynamic timeframes in the service graphs? see attached screenshots.
Should we modify the format of the graph associated to the service?

Thanks in advance!

I've filed a feature request for this - Nagios XI Feature Request: Allow dynamic time ranges in embedded graphs (ID 9525)

Currently I am not aware of a way to get this working for embedded graphs like it does in Graph Explorer.

ok, thanks.
If we are adding a new feature request please add the original requirement which is to add dynamic timeframes to dashboards.

I can add that, however I am not sure if the devs will implement it. Dashboards are fairly arbitrary in the sense that anything can go in them, some of which are not time-related. To have a "sync all" button on the dashboards would require that each element which could go into a dashboard have the ability to have dynamic ranges (as per my last feature request) as well as hooking into each of those with one button.

I can file it, but I don't think the odds are high for it getting in.

All we can do is ask.
BI tools that i use give you the option to optionally link what we call "dashlets" to a timeframe control. So if you add something that is not timeframe related, or for whatever reason you do not want to link it, you have that option.
