We just got thru a major network outage where our internet link was down. Now that it has been restored we are getting a flood of alerts from our offsite nagios server. Is there a way to cancel these all these alerts that were queued up ?
Thanks,
Bill

Nagios itself doesn't queue alerts as such, to the best of my knowledge the alerting is entirely fire and forget. The problems would be queued on your mail server or wherever Nagios sends your alerts too.
That is unless you are still in a state of recovery and Nagios still can't reach certain hosts... in which case click Home -> Incident management -> Mass acknowledge and acknowledge everything. This will stop the alerting until the devices come back online.
