OS XI Upgrade Export Config

Hi,
We are running an older version of centos and XI. I would like to do a fresh install of RHEL and XI5 then export all my configs. Is there any instructions on a process like that, or is it even recommended?
Thanks!

This would depend on your current version of XI, and whether or not you are going from 32-bit to 64-bit (or vice-versa), but yes in general this should be possible. It will just take a different approach depending on those details.

Thanks for the details - Once the new server is running and the latest XI version is installed on it, take the config from 2012R2.7 and run it through the config prep tool, then import into the new XI server (another big reason for this is that under the hood, 2012 was running Core 3 where 5.2.x is running Core 4)

sounds great, any foreseeable problems w/ mod_gearman getting reinstalled on this version of XI?

None that I'm aware of, as long as you're installing the most recent version:

You're welcome, I'll go ahead and close this one out now but feel free to open a new thread should you require assistance with anything else.
