In nagios xi, what is the best way to monitor AIX without an agent ?

You are pretty much limited to SNMP at that point, but even the SNMP listener is technically an agent.

Thanks for the response. and are you saying that there is no agentless monitoring for aix ?

I'm saying that if you have SNMP enabled you can use that, but there is technically no such thing as "agentless" monitoring since SNMP itself is acting as the agent in this case.
