I have been working on some scripts, and I really want to get the status of Business Process from LQL so I can email out reports of the general overview different applications enviroment.

I cant seem to be able to find a way to do this, anyone got any ideas?

Have you taken a look at our Exchange to see if any of the plugins there will work for your requirements?

Unfortuantly a plugin wont help here since I will be running the script from a different application (Shavlik), and this connects to a LQL socket on the Nagios server.

Ah, if you cannot go the active check route, then would passive monitoring work? I'm not familiar with Shavlik, but if you're able to send traps / data somehow this may be an option.

As you're using livestatus, it's a bit beyond the support we can provide so if it's going to be LQL related your best bet may be contacting them for support.

How would I contact the Livestatus support team?
