Hi all,

I would like to install Nagios XI on a Rhel 7.3 server with no internet connection, so an offline installation. Can you please explainb the difference between :

• a manual installation (https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... 1476261473) where we have to download the file xi-latest.tar.gz
  http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... est.tar.gz;
  
  an offline installation (https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... onment.pdf) where we have to download the file nagiosxi-5-2.9.el7.x86_64.rpm from the nagios repo

Which is the best method for an offline installation ?

Can you also please tell me if we have to install prereq manually before installation :

dejavu-lgc-sans-fonts.noarch

perl-Crypt-DES.x86_64
perl-Parse-RecDescent.noarch

You want the offline install. The prereqs are required before installation. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by manual installation. Our package does not install them, if that is what you are asking.
