The cluster ID is unique for each cluster. That definitely looks like it could be a cluster ID, but it could also be a node ID.
From the GUI, the cluster ID can be found via Administration->Cluster Status. The cluster ID should be at the top of this page.

The point is poor/ambiguous documentation. I have to create MOPs so non-native English speakers halfway around the world can install things w/o calling me when I'm asleep...

I was reading that doc to document adding a node. It's clear now that I read it again.
I'd make it
Cluster ID: nnn
rather than
Cluster Status: nnn
