Hi,

I am using Nagios Core open source 3.5.1 on Red Hat Linux 6.7.

Now Nagios will send email notification. Also I can view the hosts and services status on Nagios gui.

However, I also would like to have Nagios send the status of hosts and services to another application.

Where can I insert my code and how to integrate? Which file should I edit?

You can send our notifications a variety of different ways. If you want to use Gmail or Yahoo, https://www.unixmen.com/send-alerts-nag ... ail-yahoo/ should be of use, but note that the article is a couple of years old, so file paths may have changed. It gives CentOS instructions, which should work for you on RHEL.
