Yes. 5.4.1 should be out very soon, so you might want to wait for that.

I have upgraded our Nagios POC environment Nagiosxi 2014R2.7 to 5.3.1 then after 2week I have upgrade 5.3.1 to 5.4.1. Everything working fine.

However in production I am going to upgrade directly Nagiosxi 2014R2.7 to 5.4.1. Can you please let us know is it fine or not.

I would suggest 5.4.2. I realize this means you will need to retest. However, there was a segfault issue in 5.4.0 and 5.4.1. It didn't hit everyone, which is why we didn't catch it in 5.4.0. It's possible it didn't hit you in testing, but will in production. Also, if you change your settings in the future you might happen upon the segfault issue.

To answer your question more directly, going from 2014 directly to anything in the 5.4.x series is supported.

Can you please little bit elaborate on segfault issue. Also can you please confirm that in 5.4.2 no bug is there.

Because I can see it's release only on 6th Feb just 3dayes back.
