NLS VM

Hi
Can something be done about the disk format of the NLS VM?
All other Nagios products (that I use) have LVM setup , which makes adding/expanding filesystems easy.
Having all the NLS data sitting on the root disk can cause problems if/when it fills up.
regards... Fred

I will bring this up for discussion. I also filed a feature request for it -
Code: Select all
NEW TASK ID 10929 created - Nagios Log Server Feature Request: Change NLS OVA to use LVM

We do have a specific article for expanding the NLS disks:

Thanks mcapra. Yes I did look at this before but it doesn't help if you want to shrink it.
LVM gives you a lot more flexibiliy plus this is implemented on all the other Nagios VMs, so it would be good if it was consistent.

I do agree - with the FR in place it's now up to the developers. I'll leave this thread open should you want to request an update, Fred.
