Hey
I want to know the capabilities of Nagios for hadoop monitoring . If you could share the Metrics available in nagios for Hadoop that would be great.

We don't have anything built in for Hadoop, but there are a few pages of plugins available on our Exchange which you might find useful, take a look here -

All of these could potentially be used to monitor metrics of your Hadoop machine.
