Prowl Iphone Push Notifications

Hi Guys
this maybe be of interest to some of you but i have now configured Prowl push notifications to my iphone using the below tuturial which i thought some people may find useful
all you have to do is install a £1.99 app but there are other ways to aquire this and configure the server to run a perl script
