Hello,

I'm really having some issue with upgrading from v5.4.1 to 5.4.2. We have 2 instances of NagiosXI in our company. One instance had an issue with the repository but that is now fixed and that one updated. The second is telling me that the password for the DB is incorrect. (See below) I updated it to v5.4.2 manually no problem, but updating via the UI is a no-go.

As this instance is managed by multiple people, a mistake could have been made and the password changed. Where do I find this password in the settings in order to change it?

I don't think it's an invalid password, but actually a disk space issue. You may want to expand your disk - https://sittinginoblivion.com/wiki/back ... o-28-write

Thanks for the response. I looked and drive only had 3% left. I have expanded the drive space quite a bit. I've already upgraded to 5.4.2 manually so I'll have to wait until the next version to see if that fixed it.

Did you want us to lock this up or leave it open for the next upgrade?

That should clear it up. The error at hand was when it tries to create a backup before upgrading, which is why it failed. As you'll have space next time, all should be well.
