Guys,

I have found a big bug with the availability reports, its not taking into account the time period for which the report is being generated for, I have looked at the reports in the core it seems to work properly and show everything as it should be. XI seems to be generating all reports for the last 24 hrs, can you look at this urgently please.

Cheers
Arnab

Yeah, we had another user report this about a week ago, and this issue was exactly as you described. It appeared to be specific to hostgroup and servicesgroup availiability reports, and they were all being run for the last 24 hours in the new reports. This is fixed in SVN for the 1.9 release. If you're noticing discrepancies in other places let us know and we'll try and get them tackled as well.

In my case , its happening for all HG or SG , so in that way its very consistent :)

It will be included for 1.9, which I'm guessing we'll push out in the next 30 days, but we don't have a precise ETA on that yet. (It's already fixed in SVN). If you need the fix sooner I can send the patch over.

Make backups of these files before copying, and then unzip and copy these files to the following locations.

Code: Select all

cp availability.php /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/reports/
cp utils-reports.inc.php /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes
Let us know how it goes

I replaced availability.php from the patched version, and restored old utilsx file, things are back to pre broken state i.e. garbled pie charts and correct report data...
