Tried the linux wizard but it completely blew up Nagios (agent hosed a bunch of stuff but I was able to recover). What is the best practices recommendation for monitoring a remote Nagios server disk space? I am currently using the Nagios Wizard services which gets me part of the way there.

I'm not sure I have enough context. Perhaps if you explain how the installer broke things for you I can understand more about what you are trying to accomplish.

If you're looking for an active agent to monitor disk space have you considered NCPA?
