CSV output for nagios 3.2.2

Hello,
I am new the Nagios groups and was hoping some one might be able to assist me with some questions around the Nagios functionality. We run version 3.2.2 and I am looking to create some custom reports from the data sets but can not find how to parse/create the columns I need and how to dump data to CSV files? Does anyone have any insights?
