Check Event log

Anyone know or have a plugin I can use to check windows event log? Monitor for specific event id OR/AND when there are error message in event log. Thanks in advance.
If you have NSCA installed on your Core machine you could look into this guide:

It is written from the XI standpoint but the concept is the same.
Otherwise, I would be remiss if I did not mention Nagios Log Server which is our commercial answer to the problem of monitoring logs. I'd definitely recommend taking a look if you are monitoring more than a handful of machines for logs.
