After the alert is acknowledged in Nagios-XI how to the alarm is handles.

1. If the issue is rectified how to clear those alerts from the acknowledged alert window?

2. where we will get the information that at what time the alarm was cleared?


Can u give me a basic overview of the alert flow in the nagios-XI(alert cycle).

I would like to discuss about alarm on node DNRBT2 which marked blue above. When I click into that alarm just see below information :

You can set up Host Up and Host Acknowledgment alerts under the user notification preferences.

If you want handled things to go away on that specific page, just click "Hide Handled." Are you saying "Hide Handled" is not working? If so, what version are you running? Is it an offline install or are there any other modifications?

It's really difficult to give a "basic overview" because there are so many notification options.
